Rates do not include Italian VAT of 22%.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By registering for this event, participants consent to allow SPE to store and process the information submitted below and to provide participants with information about this event in accordance with SPE's Privacy Policy; accept the Registration Terms & Conditions; and agree to be bound by participants. Participants can unsubscribe at any time by sending the request to formslondon@spe.org

Registration Fee

  • Fee DOES NOT include accommodation.
  • Registration of participant will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
  • All outstanding payments must be received on or prior to the date of the event for participants to be allowed to attend.
  • SPE reserves the right to cancel the registration if no payment is received prior to or on the date of the event.
  • Full fee is charged regardless of the length of time the participant attends the event and cannot be pro-rated.

Cancellation Policy

  • An administration fee of EUR 140 will be charged for cancellations received 61 or more days before the event date. 
  • Cancellations advised 31-60 days prior to the event date will receive a 50% refund. 
  • No refund for cancellations received 30 days prior to event date. 
  • Participants who fail to attend will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Cancellation must be notified in writing to SPE to formslondon@spe.org
  • If you can no longer attend the event, you may transfer your ticket to another participant by notifying SPE in writing to formslondon@spe.org and no later than 14 days prior to event date.

VAT Regulations

Attendance fees are conducted under both the UK Value Added Tax Act 1994, as amended and the EC VAT law contained in Council Directive 2006/112/EC (Principal VAT Directive) and Council Regulation (EC) No. 1777/2005 (Implementing Regulation). The Implementing Regulation has direct effect from 1 January 2011.

Visa Information

  • Prior to departure, please ensure that you have current travel documents and if necessary, an entry visa for Italy. 
  • SPE will assist in providing a visa invitation letter, upon request in writing, to confirmed registrants after receiving full payment of registration fees. It is the conference attendee's responsibility to obtain their own visa. SPE cannot issue the visa, nor can we guarantee it will be obtained.

All SPE sessions are protected by copyright laws. Photography and audio-visual recording of any kind are strictly prohibited in the sessions and throughout the exhibition area.

Disclaimer

  • SPE reserves the right to change the speaker(s), date(s), venue or to cancel the event should circumstance beyond its control arises.
  • SPE will not be liable to you for any damages, costs, losses or expenses of any kind incurred or suffered by you as a result of or in relation to SPE modifying, postponing or cancelling the event or any part of the event.

In the unlikely case of cancellation of an event by SPE, SPE shall not accept liability for any consequential loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs, accommodation etc. SPE encourages delegates to take out travel insurance when making travel and accommodation arrangements.

This refund policy applies to all refunds except in the event that the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office issues or designates an “Advise against all travel” to the venue country around, or on, the dates of the event (“Travel Advisory”).  In the event of a Travel Advisory, (i) SPE, as its sole option, can change the location and/or dates of the event (“Relocated Event”) and, (ii) delegates, as their sole option, can request a full refund without penalty or, in the event of a Relocated Event, have the registration transferred to the Relocated Event.
