This workshop bring together the global PCP community and feature brief, informal presentations followed by extended discussion with the audience on various topics including:

• Field case histories.

• Extreme applications (i.e. deep landing depths, extra heavy fluids, high dogleg severity, high temperature)

• New advancements in PCP materials.

• New and emerging technologies related to PCPs.

• Coal-bed methane applications.

• PCP Reliability Improvement and Analysis including KPIs and industry benchmarking

• PCP Failure analysis case studies (drive rods, pumps and downhole / surface drive systems)

• Well monitoring, control, and optimization

• Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence for PCP applications

• Applications / usage of industry PCP API / ISO Standards

The workshop is designed to expand the participants’ knowledge of PCPs, to learn from their past successes and failures, and to explore and understand ongoing and future challenges and developments. All participants are encouraged to share their experiences to promote improved understanding of all aspects of PCP system design and use.  Overall, the open format of the event promotes camaraderie and networking, making this SPE Workshop a great learning experience for all levels.  This SPE Workshop serves as an opportunity for companies that have not yet implemented PCP systems to explore its potential and big benefits.
