About Baku

In Baku you will discover a constantly evolving tapestry of life and energy from bazaar to penthouse. Being a coastal city, Baku is intrinsically open-minded and hospitable. Guests are welcome to stroll along the Caspian promenade (the Boulevard), visit the Old City (known locally as Icherisheher) and enjoy the unique architectural blend of East and West.

Weather

Temperatures in Baku in December top out at 11°C and drop to 7°C overnight. December is a notable month of the winter season. Cold conditions persist throughout the day, so warm clothing is important from the moment you head outside. At 7°C overnight, it gets properly cold after dark. On the bright side, cold nights tend to make for excellent sleeping conditions.
