Water management is a multi-disciplinary subject that needs an integrated approach.

This 3-day workshop aims to offer comprehensive coverage of water management across the full lifecycle of oil and gas operations for both water injection and water production. It aims to integrate multi-disciplinary views and experiences across surface and subsurface strategies, regulatory frameworks, facility design, environmental stewardship, production optimization, enhance reservoir performance, impact of production chemicals on water quality for injection and discharge and sustainable development. Participants will gain actionable insights into emerging technologies, regulatory trends, and cross-disciplinary approaches that align operational efficiency with environmental responsibility.

This 3-day workshop aims to serve as an open –forum for professionals from all disciplines across the oil and gas industry as well as academia, regulatory, public and private sectors to discuss how to achieve economical and operational excellence.

WHAT PAST ATTENDEES SAY ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

"Excellent mix of disciplines and experiences. It focused on managing water by chemical treatment and provided best practices."

"The workshop was very interesting with different approach to the different
problems involving the subject."
"The program exposed a perfect scenario of how the produced and seawater
injection will impact the process treatment and how new technologies can
improve the sustainability of oil production."

ATTENDING THIS WORKSHOP SUPPORTS THE E&P INDUSTRY

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is a not-for-profit organization. Income from this event will be invested back into SPE to support many other Society programs.

When you attend an SPE event, you help provide even more opportunities for industry professionals to enhance their technical and professional competence. Scholarships, certification, the Distinguished Lecturer program, and SPE’s energy education program Energy4me® are just a few examples of programs supported by SPE.
