Integrated Subsea-to-Floating Solutions for High-Performance Field Development

Field developments are becoming increasingly complex, with performance and reliability depending on the seamless integration of subsea systems and floating production facilities. From deepwater subsea architectures and tiebacks to FPSOs, semi-submersibles or spar platforms, optimising each system together is essential to maximise recovery, reduce operational risk and deliver cost-effective solutions.

This workshop provides a comprehensive overview of the unified workflows and technologies required to design, develop and operate integrated subsea-to-floating field systems. Participants will explore technical strategies, digital tools and real-world case studies demonstrating best practices across both subsea and floating domains.

Key learning outcomes includes:

  • Integrated System Design: Learn how to develop subsea field architectures and floating facility concepts in parallel to optimise system interfaces, reduced integration risk, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Subsea Performance Excellence: Review best practices in subsea equipment selection, flow assurance, control systems, and reliability engineering, drawing on lessons learnt from real offshore projects.
  • Floating Facility Optimisation: Examine topsides processing, utilities, offloading strategies, and maintenance planning to maximise uptime and overall facility performance.
  • Digitalisation and Modelling: Discover how digital twins, predictive analytics, and real-time monitoring enhance subsea-to-floating system design, operations, and decision-making.
  • Lifecycle and Risk Management: Understand strategies for cost-effective project execution, operational reliability, and long-term asset performance, while balancing technical, economic, and environmental considerations.
