TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Registration Fee
Registration cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to canadianregistration@spe.org and must be received on or before 6:00 p.m. Central Time on 1 April 2026 to receive a refund, minus a CAD 75 administrative processing fee. Cancellation requests received after 1 April 2026 at 6:00 p.m. Central Time are not eligible for a refund.
No refunds will be provided for no-shows. If you do not attend and fail to provide written notification in advance of the first day of the event, you will not be eligible for a refund. By registering for the event, you agree to comply with the terms outlined in this cancellation policy.
Student conference registrations are subject to a CAD 25 administrative processing fee for cancellations.
If you are a presenting author or an invited speaker in need of a visa letter, please contact Jinny Bae for further assistance.
Due to a large amount of fraudulent activity, we now have a strict protocol in place for international visitors that require a visa. Determine whether you will require a visa to enter Canada and plan accordingly. If you require a visa for entry, please be advised that the process of obtaining a visa may take several months.

SPE and CHOA reserve the right to change the speaker(s), date(s) and/or to cancel the workshop should circumstance beyond its control arises. SPE and CHOA will not be liable to participants for any damages, costs, losses or expenses of any kind incurred or suffered by participants as a result of or in relation to SPE and CHOA modifying, postponing or cancelling the event.
The Participant acknowledges and agrees that by registering for this event, the Participant accepts these Terms and Conditions and agrees to be bound by them.
