About

Over 70% of producing fields in Asia Pacific are reaching mature or late-life stages, creating growing challenges in maintaining production, managing ageing assets, and meeting net-zero goals. Despite decades of data, many facilities still rely on reactive maintenance approaches, resulting in higher costs and increased risks.

This workshop brings together industry experts to share practical insights and success stories on extending asset life, improving operational efficiency and achieving ESG objectives. Discussions will cover digital tools, AI-enabled monitoring, and data-driven strategies that help operators maximise value from existing fields while supporting long.

This workshop will bring together operators, service providers, and researchers from across the region to share case studies, exchange lessons learnt and discuss late-life strategies that deliver measurable value. Sessions will explore topics such as production optimisation, digital twins, AI-based integrity monitoring, and data-centric decision models that balance OPEX, ABEX, and ESG performance. –

Participants will gain practical frameworks for managing ageing assets—from life extension and repurposing to decommissioning planning and execution. Asia Pacific is uniquely positioned to lead the next phase of intelligent brownfield management—transforming regulatory and operational challenges into opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and sustainable value creation.
