This successful Applied Technology Workshop (ATW) series continues to bring together industry leaders to address the evolving challenges of horizontal well completions and resource development in unconventional reservoirs. As reservoir development matures, fracture design, diagnostic use, pressure depletion, parent-child well interactions, and resource development sequencing remains essential to maximize resource recovery, capital efficiency and long-term resource development.

The workshop brings together industry experts and focuses on optimizing horizontal well completions and resource development through improved completion design, diagnostics integration, parent-child reservoir development, integrated strategies and field-proven best practices. 

The program features both technical and regional sessions. Technical sessions will examine advances in completion technology, fracture diagnostics, reservoir characterization, and design optimization for enhanced resource development.  Regional sessions will highlight field applications, operational challenges, and lessons learned from major North American unconventional basins.

Designed to encourage open discussion and the exchange of practical experience, this ATW provides a collaborative forum for sharing best practices, evaluating new technologies, and advancing horizontal well completion and resource development strategies for unconventional resource plays.
