Asia's appetite for gas keeps growing, but the resources left to develop are smaller, deeper, more contaminated and further from infrastructure than those that built the region's producing base. Operators are being asked to hold plateau on ageing fields while commercialising marginal, high-CO₂ and stranded accumulations - faster, at lower cost and with a materially smaller carbon footprint.

This workshop brings together subsurface, wells, facilities, project and commercial practitioners from across Asia Pacific to share what is actually working. Discussions span exploration, appraisal and concept selection, project delivery, start-up and production ramp-up, plateau management and contaminant handling. The programme is built on real case studies, hard lessons and open peer discussion.

Held in Kota Kinabalu, the workshop also provides a platform to examine Sabah's and the wider region's gas commercialisation agenda, and how collaboration between operators, service providers, regulators and state entities turns discovered resources into delivered value.
