APPLY NOW

The application deadline is 2 March 2026.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

We have made a significant change to the application process of our forums.
We request that you pay an application fee of USD 1925 for members and USD 2125 for nonmembers at application.

We request that you pay an application fee equal to the registration fee upon application. After the application selection deadline, should you:

  • be selected to attend the forum, you will receive an invitation letter to complete your forum registration. The application fee will be applied to the registration fee of USD 1925 for members and USD 2125 for nonmembers, resulting in a USD 0 balance due at registration.
  • not be selected to attend the forum, you will be notified, and the application fee will be refunded immediately to you.

Participants at SPE Forums are selected by the Forum Steering Committee based on their ability to contribute to the discussion of the topic. Attendance is limited to maximize each person’s opportunity to contribute.

Accepted applicants will receive their forum invitation and other materials within two weeks of the application deadline. For those requiring visas to attend the forum, please ensure that you leave sufficient time for your visa to be processed.

Submit your information online. If you are having difficulties applying online, please contact registration@spe.org to request an application form.

FORUM FEES AND INSTRUCTIONS

We have made a recent change to the forum fee.
The forum fee no longer includes 4-nights hotel accommodation. A reservation link will be provided so you can reserve your hotel room at a negotiated rate.

The forum fee includes:

  • Six technical sessions
  • Daily continental breakfast
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday lunch
  • Monday welcome reception
  • Thursday farewell reception and dinner
  • Morning and afternoon coffee breaks

Please note: The base registration fee does not include accompanying persons. The registration fee is not transferable. The forum fee is charged regardless of the length of time a registrant attends the forum. Attendees are expected to attend the entire forum.

If the committee approves your application, you will receive registration materials, including more detailed information on hotel, housing, transportation, and fees.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and requests for refunds must be received by SPE in writing on or before 9 March 2026 for a refund of the registration fee less a 25% cancellation penalty. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER 9 March 2026.

Visa Information

Attendees from countries that require a US visa for entry are reminded that the process of obtaining a visa may take several months.  Create an official SPE invitation letter that you can print and use in obtaining a visa. Please note that this letter does not guarantee that you will be granted a visa, nor does it commit SPE to assist you in obtaining a visa.

Concerning Professional Development Hours

SPE Forums provide peer-to-peer engagement rather than a learning environment. Therefore, no Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are awarded at SPE Forums. SPE Professional Development does award one CEU for every 10 contact hours of participation for your participation and completion at an SPE workshop or online training course.
