This session will focus on real-world projects highlighting the importance of data acquisition, project framing, and site selection, as well as discussing fit-for-purpose modeling approaches. These topics will be illustrated by case studies in porous media or alternative solutions such as lined rock caverns. Lessons learned from applications in CCS and hydrogen storage will be presented.
