Tammy Willmer is currently the Geosciences Manager for Cold Lake at Strathcona Resources Ltd. She received a BSc. (2005) with Specialization in Geophysics from the University of Alberta. Tammy began her career with ConocoPhillips in 2006, where she received comprehensive training and mentorship in geophysical interpretation. She later contributed to Central Plains development at Bonavista Energy and served as the asset geophysicist for the Orion and Taiga properties at Osum Oil Sands before joining Strathcona in 2021. Her professional focus continues to be showing how advanced seismic interpretation techniques can be integrated with various other geologic data to characterize reservoirs, mitigate subsurface risk, and support efficient, responsible resource development.
