Reserves Reinvented Navigating the Energy Landscape with Strategic Expertise
This workshop aims to provide insights into the current state of reserves and resource estimation within the Petroleum Resources Management System (PRMS) framework. Both conventional and unconventional resources and reserves will be covered, with focus on application of definitions, characterisation of projects, and a variety of methodologies with real-world examples. The workshop will also explore how the industry is adapting to changes in the energy landscape. Through case histories, technical presentations, and discussion forums provided by the technical committee and workshop attendees, the workshop provides attendees with a deep understanding of the current state of reserves and resource assessment. Another key output is to provide recommendations for the ongoing update of the PRMS.
