Session 6: The Future of Power Generation in Canada Through Hydrogen Combustion
Session Chairs: Roy Christensen, KT Project; Manfred Klein, MA Klein & Associates
Gas turbine systems play a critical role in facilitating an energy transition towards a set of diverse and cleaner energy systems, to support secure and reliable energy infrastructure that is critical for Canada's industrial and economic performance. For over 50 years the 'Gas Turbines for Energy Network' (GTEN) has been Canada's trusted hub for gas turbine system expertise and knowledge-sharing. These systems consist of efficient peak electric power and combined cycle systems with fuel flexibility to complement renewable energy, or provide gas pipeline and offshore compression, industrial cogeneration, and district energy systems for communities.
