The paper discusses an approach to optimizing a gas lift well in a remote area by using technology of EDGE Intelligence. EDGE Intelligence consists of a gateway that can be connected to a Hydraulic simulator engine, where the simulator calculates liquid rates under varying gas lift injection rate scenario. The EDGE Intelligence application will respond by taking the optimum injection rate of gas lift based on the highest liquid rates calculated by the simulator.
