Richard Temple
Richard Temple is a R&D Project Manager at the Chevron Technology Center in Houston. He is a subsurface surveillance specialist focusing on fiber-optics and wireless technologies. He has 30 years experience in well testing, production engineering, completions engineering, reservoir engineering and simulation at Chevron. Richard has led or participated in projects in West Texas Shale, California Heavy Oil, Gulf of Mexico, Angola offshore, UK West of Shetlands, Russia, Kazakhstan, and the Kurdish Region of Iraq. He earned MSc degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Engineering Mechanics from Pennsylvania State University. He also earned a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and holds Professional Engineering Licenses in the U.S. in Petroleum Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
