Presentation Title: Digital Intelligent Artificial Lift 

Bio:

Yasser El Massry has over 40 years of upstream E&P experience with Suez oil company (10 years), ADCO (ADNOC onshore 10 years), BP (15 years), Apache Corporation and currently IPR.  He worked in Egypt, Abu Dhabi, North Sea and Azerbaijan. He managed complex brown assets through multi-discipline/cultural teams. Expert in field development, production enhancement and field production and expenditure optimization through any phase of field development.  He is an effective leader besides being strong achiever who can lead all types of teams with any varieties of background or skill levels and quickly adjust plans to reach predetermined goals.

Mr. El-Massry is the Operations Manager of IPR Energy Group in Cairo from July 2023 to date. He is responsible for managing all related production and petroleum engineering operations for all IPR assets/concessions to enhance and add production wedges to base production. As IPR operations general manager, he improved wells repairs and interventions. Through drilling new in-fill wells using new development concepts, introducing ESP and upgrade completion practices contributed to doubling the base production and quadrable the reserves in one of core IPR asset in the last year with almost same budget within one year. He increased El Hamra Oil JV (IPR working interest 100%) production from ~ 3,500 to ~ 7,000 bopd in 10 months through drilling new in-fill development wells and introducing ESP to artificial lift method.

Mr. El Massry holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from the Cairo University in1983 and 1994, respectively.
