Bio: Eng. Radi Ahmed El‑Nashar is a highly accomplished and respected Drilling and Wells Executive, currently serving as Group Drilling Manager at Cheiron Energy Group. With nearly four decades of industry experience (38 years), his career is marked by a progressive journey through key roles including Drilling Engineer, Senior Drilling Engineer, Workover and Well Intervention Engineer, Well Site Leader, Wells Operations Manager, Drilling General Manager, and ultimately Group Drilling Manager.

His professional journey includes tenure at several world-class energy companies:
• 9 years with GUPCO (AMOCO JV), 1 year with Smith International (SLB)
• 6 years with ADNOC Onshore, 15 years with BP
• 2 years with Dragon Oil,  5 years with Cheiron Energy Group

He is well-versed in risk management planning, hazard identification, risk assessment, management of change (MOC), budgeting, tendering, and PSCM processes, ensuring seamless contractual coverage and operational efficiency.

Known for his ethical leadership, high energy, and ability to build and inspire cross-functional teams, Eng. El‑Nashar consistently champions values such as speaking up respectfully, driving continuous improvement, fostering diversity, and managing risk with a strong safety-first mindset. He excels at giving and receiving feedback, influencing outcomes, and aligning teams toward high-performance goals.

Eng. El‑Nashar earned his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Suez Canal University in 1985, laying the foundation for his lifelong commitment to technical excellence and industry leadership.

A strong believer in teamwork, accountability, and excellence, he continues to serve as a mentor, advocate, and role model for rising professionals across the energy sector.
