Amr Taher is the Chief Executive Officer of EMEC and ECC, where he leads with a focus on strategic growth, operational excellence, and innovation in the oilfield services and chemicals sectors. With a strong foundation in strategy, leadership, and project management, he has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s regional footprint and diversifying its offerings.

Under his leadership, EMEC secured significant tender awards in key markets such as Algeria and Kuwait. He spearheaded the establishment of the company’s Research and Development department, which has since become a cornerstone of EMEC’s innovation strategy. Amr also led the successful integration of artificial intelligence into the company’s pricing systems and launched a new revenue stream through the in-house manufacturing of drilling fluids at ECC.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from The George Washington University.
