Bio: Ahmed Antar is a seasoned professional in the Oil and Gas industry with over 26 years of hands-on experience in drilling fluids engineering, project management, and leadership roles. I began my career in 1998 at The Egyptian Mud Engineering and Chemicals Company (EMEC) as a Drilling Fluids Engineer and have since built a strong track record of delivering technical excellence and operational efficiency across a range of onshore and offshore projects.

In 2008, I transitioned into project management, where I successfully led multiple drilling fluids operations, ensuring performance optimization, cost control, and alignment with HSE standards. Over the years, I have collaborated closely with major operators and service companies across various regions and geological environments.

Since January 2025, I have been serving as Country Manager at EMEC, overseeing all aspects of operations across the country. In this strategic leadership role, I focus on driving business growth, strengthening client relationships, ensuring compliance, and maintaining operational excellence in a dynamic and competitive market.
