The PVT (Pressure-Volume-Temperature) properties are crucial in various industries, particularly in integrated hydrocarbon (oil and gas) industries, environmental engineering, carbon capture and storage (CCS), and hydrogen value chains.

PVT data provides essential information for flow in porous media from reservoir simulation to simple analytical models, to well design, and integrated production optimisation, ultimately influencing decision-making processes in the extraction and processing of hydrocarbons. Its importance lies in ensuring efficient and effective resource management in the energy sector. Read more.

  • Transformation comes with change. This workshop will discuss current and future utilization of fluid(s) properties for real-world applications in wider spectrum of industries such as hydrocarbon extraction, CCUS and hydrogen-gas value chains, chemical, and environmental engineering.
    Birol Dindoruk
Workshop Co-Chair, Professor University of Houston
  • The workshop aims to delve deep into the challenges posed by reservoir fluids in heterogeneous and challenging geological formations. Through a series of technical sessions, interactive discussions, and hands-on exercises, we will explore cutting-edge techniques and methodologies to better understand, model, and optimize reservoir fluid dynamics.
    Qassim Riyami
Workshop Co-Chair, Reservoir Engineering CFDH Petroleum Development Oman
  • In the traditional oil industry, reservoir fluids are vital commodities. They also play a crucial role in the energy transition, encompassing CO2, hydrogen, and geothermal aspects. Join our workshop to delve into these transformative topics and stay informed about the evolving industry landscape and innovations driving change.
    Tao Yang
