Accommodations are NOT included in the registration fee.

Call the hotel directly at +1.800.392.5937 or online to reserve your hotel room at the attendee rate of USD 209 plus taxes per night. You must identify yourself as an SPE Workshop attendee.

Rates at the hotel are offered three (3) days before and after the workshop, based on availability.  The attendee rate is guaranteed until 22 April.  After 22 April, hotel reservations will be subject to availability at the prevailing rates.

SPE has arranged a room block at The San Luis Resort, Spa & Conference Center to save you time and money. As a result, SPE is able to increase attendee benefits to provide a great experience, while keeping expenses low. Revenue from this event will be invested back into SPE and will support many other Society programs. Directions From Houston
Take Interstate 45 South to Galveston. Take the 61st Street exit and turn right (south). Stay on 61st Street to Seawall Boulevard. Turn left (east) at Seawall Boulevard. The San Luis Resort is located past 53rd Street and Seawall Boulevard on the left (north) side.

Self-Parking for attendees will be complimentary.

Visa Information

Attendees from countries that require a US visa for entry are reminded that the process of obtaining a visa may take several months. Create an official SPE invitation letter that you can print and use in obtaining a visa.

Please note that this letter does not guarantee that you will be granted a visa, nor does it commit SPE to assist you in obtaining a visa.
