  • All rates are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) and are subject to prevailing Sales and Services Tax (SST).
  • Rates are inclusive of breakfast for one (1) or two (2) persons, served at the designated venue.
  • Rates are applicable exclusively for this event/group and are strictly non-commissionable.
  • Tourism Tax: In accordance with the Tourism Tax Act enforced by the local authority effective 1 September 2017, a charge of RM10.00 per room per night will be imposed on all non-Malaysian guests. This tax will be reflected in the guest’s bill and is payable upon settlement, unless otherwise advised by the authority.
  • Early check-in prior to 2:00pm will be subject to a full night’s room charge. Late check-out after 12:00noon will be subject to 50% of the room rate, while check-out after 6:00pm will incur a full night’s room charge.
  • Cancellations received within seven (7) days prior to the date of arrival will incur a cancellation penalty equivalent to one (1) night’s room charge.
  • Accommodation is subject to room availability. A written confirmation will be provided by the Hotel to validate the reservation.

VISA AND ENTRY TO MALAYSIA

Visa Information

There are two (2) ways to apply for a visa to Malaysia:

Invitation Letter Request Form
An invitation letter to facilitate the application of visa will be issued to registered attendees if required.

Complete and return the Invitation Letter Request Form to Ken Fu at email kfu@spe.org.

Please note that it is the sole responsibility of the attendee to obtain the necessary paperwork for entry into Malaysia. The invitation letter does not guarantee that you will be granted a visa.

Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)

All foreign travellers must complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) within three (3) days prior to their scheduled arrival in Malaysia. 

Effective 1 January 2024, completion of MDAC will be mandatory, except for the following list:

  • Citizens of Singapore
  • Diplomatic and Official Passports holders 
  • Malaysian Permanent Residents (PR) and Long-Term Pass holders 
  • General Certificate of Identity (GCI) Brunei Darussalam holders 
  • Brunei-Malaysia Frequent Traveller Facility holders  
  • Thailand Border Pass holders
  • Indonesia Cross-Border Travel Document (PLB) holders 

Here are the required steps: 

  • Step 1: Fill up the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) here 
  • Step 2: Submit the MDAC within three (3) days prior to your arrival to Malaysia. Proof of submission will be sent to your registered email. 
  • Step 3: Upon arrival in Malaysia, show your MDAC registration and verify your passport at the Immigration counters.
