Ruggero Trevisan has been Vice President–Europe at Altus Well Experts since 2015, following his tenure as Senior Engineer from 2009 to 2015 and earlier experience as an engineering consultant in the oil and gas sector. Specialising in well design and integrity, he focuses on tubular analysis and verification for critical well applications. 

He brings extensive consulting experience with major operators worldwide, covering drilling and completion, casing and tubing design across oil and gas, deep-water, HPHT, CCS, and geothermal wells. His work encompasses well integrity evaluation, annular pressure management, and life-cycle barrier verification. Ruggero has delivered numerous advanced tubular design courses and authored casing and tubing design manuals for multiple operating companies. 

He is co-author of several technical papers and journal publications on wellbore thermal and tubular stress design and serves on SPE technical committees in the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific, including the IADC Drilling and CCUS conferences. Ruggero holds an MEng in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Padua and an MEng in Mechanical Engineering/Dynamics from the University of Aberdeen.
