Luciano Machado de Almeida is a civil engineer who graduated from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and holds an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Since joining Petrobras in 2009 as a petroleum engineer, Luciano has held various leadership and management roles, both operational and corporate, in exploratory well construction, well services, well control, HSE, and well integrity. Currently, he serves as General Manager for Well Safety and Integrity, ensuring the adoption of best practices in well construction, maintenance, and abandonment, as well as the integrity of wells in operation.
