George Galloway
George started his career in 1985 with Mobil Oil as a Petroleum Engineer, specializing in completion, workover and well intervention operations. After a spell with a small North Sea operator he joined the Expro Group where he held various senior management positions both in well servicing operations and international business development.
In 2012 he co-founded The Well Academy in the Netherlands as a specialist wells training centre. After growing the business into a global training provider, George transitioned into his current energy & wells advisory role. George is a technical consultant with IWCF where he has contributed to significant improvements in the Well Intervention Pressure control curriculum and contributed to the launch of Well Control in Design and Lifecycle Management programme.
George holds a BSc(Hons) in Offshore Engineering from Heriot-Watt University. Is a chartered Chemical Engineer, member of The Energy Institute and the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
