Federico Juarez Perales is Principal Engineer at the Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (Havtil), where he oversees drilling and well activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. With more than a decade of experience in well integrity, risk management, and operational improvement, he has previously held key technical roles at Aker BP, ConocoPhillips, and Equinor.

Federico holds an MSc in Petroleum Engineering (Drilling & Wells) from NTNU in Norway and a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from UNAM in Mexico. 

He has contributed to industry standards and guidelines related to Well Integrity in Norway. Currently, he is Vice Chair for Competence & Training in SPE’s Well Integrity Technical Section.
