Fabrizio Zausa
He graduated with an honours degree in Geology and Geophysics in 1989 and joined Eni E&P (formerly Agip) in 1990. He began his career in Eni’s laboratories, focusing on the application of rock mechanics to drilling activities. In 1999, he moved to the Drilling Department, where he contributed to the development of innovative drilling technologies aimed at improving operational efficiency, including the lean and extreme lean profile concepts and the continuous circulation system.
Since 2010, he has been responsible for developing processes and systems for risk assessment in Eni’s drilling and completion operations, leading the Well Area Risk Management group until 2024.
