TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Registration Fee

  • Workshop fee includes technical sessions, released presentations, attendee list, certificate of participation, 2.0 CEUs (Continuing Education Units), welcome coffee, lunches, coffee breaks, and reception.
  • Fee DOES NOT include accommodation. Visit the Travel and Accommodations page for more details.
  • All outstanding payments must be received on or prior to the date of the event for participants to be allowed to attend. SPE reserves the right to cancel the registration if no payment is received prior to or on the date of the event.
  • Full fee is charged regardless of the length of time the Participant attends the event and cannot be pro-rated

Taxes

  • Fee are made free and clear of, and without any deduction or withholding for and on account of, any taxes, duties or other deductions. Any such deduction or withholding, if required by the laws of any country are the sole responsibility of the Participant.

Cancellation Policy

  • Registration cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to registration@spe.org  and must be received on or before 5:00 p.m. Central Time on 14 August 2025 to receive a refund, minus a USD 75 administrative processing fee. Cancellation requests received after 14 August 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time are not eligible for a refund.

  • No refunds will be provided for no-shows. If you do not attend and fail to provide written notification in advance of the first day of the event, you will not be eligible for a refund. By registering for the event, you agree to comply with the terms outlined in this cancellation policy. 

Substitution Policy

  • Substitution/replacement registrations are offered as a one-time courtesy as long as a badge has not been printed. Replacing a registered workshop attendee with a business colleague or co-worker will be accepted.
