Mike Potts is a Sr. Drilling Engineer at K&M Technology with over 1,000 horizontal wells worth of experience.  He has worked for multiple operators in nearly every US basin, as well as international and deep water.  He is a subject matter expert in well construction, specifically casing design, well control, and applied geomechanics.  In his 24 years in the oilfield, he has investigated, or caused personally, dozens of casing failures.  He loves to travel and spend time with his high school sweetheart wife of 32 years and two kids, 9 and 12.  K&M recently drilled horizontally to 54,000’ MD and Mike is currently working on the deepest known horizontal to date at nearly 30,000’ TVD.
