Chris Thompson joined CIBC Capital Markets in 2019 as a Research Associate with the oil and gas research team based in Calgary and was promoted to Analyst in 2022. His focus is on Canadian junior and intermediate oil and gas producers. Mr. Thompson has over a decade of experience in the oil and gas and oilfield services industry and previously worked as a geophysicist at ConocoPhillips Canada Ltd. Mr. Thompson is a registered professional geoscientist (P.Geo.) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary.
