S02 Casing Deformation
Tuesday, 2 December
Cascade Ballroom
Technical and Invited Presenter
Casing deformation is an increasingly common integrity issue in water disposal and thermal wells due to evolving reservoir pressures and temperature-related stresses. The following presentations will highlight how geomechanical modeling, field observations and industry collaborations can be used to identify key deformation mechanisms and support improved well design and mitigation practices.
-
1030-1100A Case Study of a SAGD’s Water Disposal Well
-
1100-1130Investigation of the Casing Integrity in Meota West 1 SAGD Operations in Saskatchewan with the Use of Coupled Reservoir and Geomechanical Modelling Part 2 : Mitigation Measures
-
1130-1200Thermal EOR Casing Deformations: Types, Implications, and Collaborative Opportunity
