GE03 Panel Session: Capturing Value While Managing Uncertainty Using AI Agents in Well Intervention
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly moving from experimentation to execution in well intervention—but with that shift comes both opportunity and uncertainty. This panel will provide a practical discussion on how AI is being applied today in subsea and well intervention workflows, interacting with the audience on where it is delivering measurable value, and where caution is required.
Panelists will explore the differences between Generative AI models verse Agentic AI agents, helping attendees understand which tools are best suited for specific challenges. Topics will include data quality and screening, proprietary data considerations, governance and standards, and productivity impacts.
Rather than focusing on hype or future promises, the discussion will emphasize what engineers and managers should know now to responsibly integrate AI into daily work—how to select the right use cases, avoid common pitfalls, and build confidence in AI enabled decision making.
