Arief is the Senior Manager – Innovation Space, T&I - UTDI, with over 23 years of experience in the oil and gas industry across Malaysia, China, and Australia. He holds a Master’s in Petroleum Production Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Arief has led key initiatives, including managing a digital project integrating PETRONAS’ LNG business and driving the digital agenda for PETRONAS Upstream. Earlier in his career, he played a pivotal role in field development planning, surface facilities concept design, and economic evaluation, shaping strategies for PETRONAS’ assets.
