Strategic Session 4: Accelerating Implementation and Market Adoption

Thursday, 12 June
Emerald Room, Level 3
Strategic Session

Unlike oil and gas established markets, the market for hydrogen is still nascent. This strategic session will explore the critical strategies and supporting policies needed to overcome both technology and economic barriers to hydrogen adoption, and to create a thriving market, particularly in regions like Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific.

Panellists will focus on the key elements required for successful commercialisation and market creation, including policy support, mandatory scheme, infrastructure development, and investment strategies.

This session will also address the importance of public engagement in fostering a supportive environment for hydrogen adoption. By examining these areas, this session aims to provide a roadmap for accelerating the implementation of hydrogen technologies, ensuring their integration into the broader energy market.
