Adel R. Al-Azmi is a seasoned professional with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a diverse career spanning engineering, planning, security, and information technology. He currently serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO), leading the Corporate Information Technology department in supporting the organization’s digital and operational goals.

Adel began his career as a Maintenance Engineer, where he developed a strong technical foundation and a practical understanding of industrial operations. He later transitioned into a Planning role, where he contributed to optimizing maintenance strategies and resource allocation. His responsibilities expanded further when he took on a role in Physical Security, managing the protection of critical infrastructure and assets.

These varied experiences provided a broad perspective on organizational needs and operational challenges, which proved valuable when Adel moved into the Information Technology Department. There, he applied his multidisciplinary background to support the integration of technology into business processes and operations.

In his current role as CIO, Adel works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT initiatives are aligned with strategic objectives. His focus remains on enabling efficiency, enhancing security, and supporting the organization’s ongoing digital transformation.
