16 CCUS Project Design and Engineering

Tuesday, 9 September
Sugar Land Ballroom I-IV
Technical Session
Efficient project design in CCSU projects play a key role in achieving net zero emissions and enabling energy transition goals. This session will cover topics related to front-end engineering of CCS facilities while considering the impact of subsurface conditions on surface network design and operations. Additionally, there will be discussions on the full lifecycle economics of CCS systems by evaluating factors that influence CCS scalability and feasibility. To further enrich the session there will be deep-dive discussions on using machine learning and experimental measurements to better define CO2 solubility in brine.
