Nicole “Nikki” Davis Viilo is New Mexico Development Manager for ConocoPhillips, where she leads a cross-functional team responsible for planning and executing oil and gas development projects across the company’s New Mexico portfolio.

Since joining ConocoPhillips in 2009, Viilo has held technical and strategic roles across the Lower 48, including reservoir engineering, completions engineering, and corporate planning roles focused on unconventional development strategy and capital discipline.

A native West Texan, Viilo returned to her hometown of Midland in 2021 following ConocoPhillips’ acquisition of Concho Resources.

Viilo earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2009 and remains closely connected to her alma mater through recruiting and service on the Petroleum Industry Advisory Board.

She received the James A. McCauley Distinguished Engineering Student Award as a Texas Tech senior and was recognized by the Whitacre College of Engineering as a 2024 Young Distinguished Engineer of the Year.  Nikki is to be inducted into the Texas Tech Petroleum Engineering Academy in October 2026.
