The energy industry has recently undergone long-lasting changes impacting its position in the global economy, reputation, and role in many countries' economies. It has demonstrated resilience to the repeated cycles of low oil prices, geopolitical shifts, and climate crises by transforming itself efficiently and innovatively. In the midst of many uncertainties, there is an increased focus on climate change, sustainability, and the reassessment of investment priorities in energy markets.

The global challenge is ensuring access to affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy through enhancing its competitiveness and operational reliability and building a low-carbon future. While firming up its essential contributions to global socio-economic development, the Energy industry is continually enhancing such contributions by expanding its diverse resources, developing new forms of energy mix, driving technological advances, and establishing collaborations with other industries to enable and ensure affordable, sustainable, and clean energy. Such collective efforts go beyond transitioning to a far-reaching and impactful transformation.

In this industry dialogue, industry leaders will discuss emerging global energy strategies, shifts, types and means of collaboration between major players, including Governments, societies, energy developers and producers, academia and research institutes, and technology developers. Furthermore, the panelists will reflect on the major challenges and opportunities associated with the emerging energy landscape and its ecosystem in development.
