Travel and Accommodation

We're excited to be hosting this event in Bergen, Norway.

Bergen is a city on Norway’s southwestern coast. It's surrounded by mountains and fjords, including Sognefjord, the country’s longest and deepest. Bryggen features colourful wooden houses on the old wharf, once a center of the Hanseatic League's trading empire. The Fløibanen Funicular goes up Fløyen Mountain for panoramic views and hiking trails.  Build your plan for things to do in Bergen and get inspired to discover new sites, attractions and more!

Travel to the Venue

If you're flying into Bergen, the nearest airport is Bergen Flesland Airport. From there, you can take a taxi or a local transport service to the Quality Hotel Edvard Grieg. The hotel is just a short 5-minute drive away from the airport, making it a convenient option for travelers.

If you're traveling by car from Bergen city center or Bergen Station, it's approximately a 25 km journey to the hotel. This journey typically takes around 20 minutes under normal traffic conditions. Local transport services are also available if you prefer not to drive.

We strongly encourage all attendees to opt for public transportation when commuting to the event venue, whenever possible. For those aware of fellow attendees utilising private cars or taxis, we also encourage exploring alternatives such as carpooling or sharing taxi services to further reduce our collective environmental impact.
