The objective of this symposium is to share knowledge and experiences to leverage the use of non-metallic solutions in the energy sector. The symposium will also create a platform for all stakeholders including subject matter experts, manufacturers, and operators to discuss the latest technological developments, challenges, and future ambitions.

Corrosion of metallic pipelines and downhole tubulars and the associated maintenance to mitigate or prevent it poses a heavy environmental and operational burden across many industries, especially the energy sector. To address these challenges, qualification, piloting and deployment of non-metallic solutions aim to eliminate corrosion; boost operational efficiency, and maximise asset availability while reducing life cycle costs.
