He has delivered innovative solutions combining data, analytics, and expert insight to the energy industry for over 15 years.  Clients trust him as a thought partner across a wide range of strategic issues, from portfolio optimization to supply chain management.  He specializes in facilitating collaboration across business and technical domains to contextualize the most critical risk and value tradeoffs inherent in any portfolio. Topically, Preston has worked with industry on the transformative trends of the day, such as unconventional resources and digitalization.  He has served the full range of O&G industry companies, including multiple Supermajors, NOCs, IOCs, OFS, and PE backed E&P companies.  Typical clients are C-suite stakeholders, strategic planning teams, business development, exploration, supply chain management, and operations.  Prior to joining S&P Global Commodity Insights, Preston held a progression of consulting and leadership roles at Wood Mackenzie and Deloitte Consulting.  He holds a BA in Economics from Princeton University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
