Dr. Fahad AlGhanem has a bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering from Oregon State University (OSU) and a Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering from Kuwait University and another Master’s degree and a PhD in Petroleum engineering from University of Southern California (USC).  Also completed the General Management Program (GMP) at Harvard University.

Dr. Fahad AlGhanem started working Kuwait Oil Company in the technical services team where he was responsible for reviewing project documents such as design basis, process flow diagrams..etc.  Later he has moved to work in the Gas Operations Team as Senior Gas Engineer where initiated projects based on operational requirements.  In Early 2014 he was promoted to Team Leader in the same area where he started in Technical services but this time specifically for gas facilities. In 2023 promoted to Manager where oversees activities that support the operation, reliability, safety and reporting for the gas facilities.  Lastly in 2025, new responsibility for gas projects was also entrusted to him.
