Clay Williams recently retired as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of NOV, after serving nearly 12 years in the role.  During his three-decade career at NOV, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and he held additional leadership roles, including Vice President of Finance, Vice President of Corporate Development, and Vice President of Pipeline Services.  Before joining NOV, Clay worked for SCF Partners and Shell Oil Company. He holds a BS in Civil and Geological Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from The University of Texas.
