Nader Gerges current role is a Senior Specialist Petrophysicist as part of the Advanced Geoscience Solutions team in ADNOC’s Thamama Excellence Centre, supporting best practices in Petrophysical modelling, reservoir characterization, EOR and reservoir model assurance across the ADNOC Group of Companies, in addition to the adoption and deployment of new technologies including digital and AI solutions.

Nader Gerges has a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Robotics Engineering from Cairo University and 24 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. His expertise includes Petrophysical Modelling, Reservoir Characterization, Reservoir Monitoring, Geosteering operations, and developing Digital solutions for improved reservoir management and Field Development plan optimization.

Nader has been actively involved with the SPWLA and SPE societies as technical chair and VP of Technology.

 In his career he has worked on projects globally, including in Egypt, Indonesia, Thailand UK North Sea, US Gulf of Mexico, Norway, Canada, Nigeria, Iraq, Congo, Libya and the United Arab Emirates.
