Sultan Albigishi is the Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Refining. With more than 30 years of downstream experience, he has extensive expertise across refinery operations management, project delivery, planning, and strategy, and has spent almost his entire career with ADNOC Refining.   Albigishi began his career as a Process Engineer and progressed through a wide range of technical and leadership roles across operations, planning, technical services, and corporate functions. Prior to his appointment as CEO in 2023, he served as Senior Vice President for Projects and Technical at ADNOC Refining. Earlier, he was Senior Vice President for Asset Development at OMV, where he oversaw refining operations across Austria, Germany, and Romania. He also served as a Board Member at ADNOC’s Technical Academy and is currently a Board Member of ADNOC Global Trading.    Albigishi holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa.
