Melanie currently leads a team of environmental and social advisors supporting drilling and production activity in the fast paced North Sea region. She is responsible for maintaining strong environmental and compliance performance, driving the sustainability agenda and managing stakeholder relationships with environmental authorities & other bodies.

Melanie and has worked in a variety of environmental roles for bp supporting activity across the globe since joining in 2010. Her career has provided opportunities to lead in the environmental discipline across the lifecycle of the oil and gas business from early access exploration through to decommissioning and remediation, with strong operational site experience. 

She is a Chartered Environmentalist and holds a BSc in Biology.
