With more than 16 years of experience today, Hisham graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2008 from the American University of Beirut, were he directly joined the Oil & Gas industry as part of the graduate program at Petrofac Intl., in Sharjah, UAE.

Hisham then joined the upstream side of the business as part of the Sales & Business Development team for National Oilwell Varco (NOV), Rig Systems division in Dubai in 2014, looking after the Caspian Region. He then joined the IADC as a Regional Representative in 2017, looking after the Middle East & Africa. In January 2020, he was promoted to Vice President – Eastern Hemisphere, supporting all IADC activities in the Middle East, Africa, Caspian, East Asia & Australia.
