An Industrial Ecologist and Programme Management Specialist with over 15 years of experience. Joined TotalEnergies EP Uganda in 2012 as the pioneer biodiversity specialist and successfully led the development and implementation of the affiliate’s biodiversity programme, created and maintained stakeholder relations to foster coexistence of Oil and gas development with wildlife conservation, tourism development and enhancement of community livelihoods around Murchison Falls National Park.
Prior to TotalEnergies, David worked with various conservation organizations across Africa where he designed and implemented various biodiversity conservation programs.
Finally, David is a proud award winner of the prestigious International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) Outstanding Young Professionals (OYP) award 2020.
