Andrew has 27 years’ experience in process engineering and safety including roles in refining, aviation and the upstream.  While in the upstream he has worked in Algeria, Angola, Oman and Alaska, USA giving him a broad experience of different cultures and operations.

Andrew believes strongly in balancing human performance with optimising management systems to best manage the risks of our industry. 

Andrew graduated from Manchester University with a master’s degree in chemical engineering and environmental technology.  He is a chartered member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Institute of Royal Engineers.
